Bill Maher often has some crazy things to say and what he had to say about the Second Amendment and it’s “purpose” is really just disrespectful and untrue.

It was meant to guarantee the legality of well-regulated militias to handle the states’ internal problems, especially the problem of a large slave population.” ”
Uh huh… I thought it to ensure our freedoms remain intact from the possibility of a tyrannical government? I mean it says… “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” But f**k me, right?
