Pratt has remarked that he identifies with Christ’s feelings of isolation and persecution during his own trial and crucifixion.
Chris Pratt has never been reluctant to discuss his faith, and he insists he has not been changed by the attention he has gotten in the past.
Pratt was asked about the negative feedback he has received for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” and he said, “I’m not the only one who’s gotten bad reviews.”
Page Six reports that he said, “That’s nothing new, that’s nothing new, you know,” before quoting scripture.
It’s been said that “if I were from this world, they’d love me just the way I am, but I decided to leave it.”Following that, he cited John 15:18-20.
Unfortunately, this is the truth. A follower of Jesus Christ approached him about his remarks, and he said, “They hated him 2,000 years ago, too.”
Fans of Marvel films would have been happier if Pratt hadn’t returned as Star-Lord. This was probably owing to rumors that began surfacing in 2019 about his belonging to a church with anti-LGBTQ sentiments.
In an Instagram post, Pratt responded to the claims, writing, “Recently, it’s been said that I go to a church that ‘hates a certain group of people’ and is ‘infamously anti-LGBTQ.'” Actually, the opposite is true. My church welcomes anyone who would like to worship with us.
His faith was fundamental to his existence, but “no church defines me or my life,” he wrote.
James Gunn, the director of “Guardians of the Galaxy,” defended Chris Pratt last month. Gunn said that people had “utterly false beliefs” about Pratt and that he would never be replaced, both of which were later deleted from the post.
This is the “What for?” question. When another poster suggested firing Pratt, Gunn voiced his agreement. You say this because all of your assumptions about him are false. What do you want in return for the lies you were told about him? Although Chris PrattLord, Star-Lord, is irreplaceable, we would all blindly follow anybody else in leadership.
Pratt has not yet been affected by the negative reviews of his most recent film.
Pratt believes that naysayers are the same as any other sort of person or circumstance: One of my favorite quotes is: “Like a rhino, you put your head down, keep moving forward, have thick skin, and if someone gets in your way, you stick your horn right up their a–!”
