Twitter users mostly disapproved of the President’s attempt to launch a political attack on Florida Republican governor Ron DeSantis, who is supporting school choice.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has shown an interest in looking into alternatives to the College Board’s Advanced Placement program after being accused of spreading “misinformation” and “slander” about the College Board’s AP African American Studies course.
Florida parents and students have called DeSantis’ plan to eliminate Advanced Placement courses “unfathomable,” but it seems that opinion isn’t universally shared, as demonstrated by a tweet linking to a Washington Post article titled “Biden tries to attack DeSantis over his immigration stance.”
Users on Twitter, however, used the opportunity to poke fun at Biden for his apparent agreement with the primary premise of school choice proponents—that “every kid” should have “access to every education option available” regardless of where they live.

Reported DeSantis employee Christina Pushaw appeared to quip that the ex-VP gives him free mental space.
