Maryland educator Rebecca Rothstein is called “liberal as f*ck” for considering assigning her pupils “Marxist literature.”
A Maryland teacher who declared herself “glad as f*ck to be communist” and who boasted about “indoctrinating” her students has called for an immediate war against capitalism, adding, “Revolutions involve violence.”
Teacher of middle schoolers in the Montgomery County Public Schools Rebeca F. Rothstein advocates using the educational system to inspire future generations of anti-racist activists. She was just a typical TikTok user until Fox News Digital decided to investigate her comment about violent revolutions. However, as of this past Monday, she no longer has access to her account.
“One of my primary goals as a teacher is to help students develop important character traits like empathy and non-racism. Do I have it in my head, or does it feel like a good year to put off math and science classes? Perhaps 2018 will be the watershed year when combating racism in our classrooms finally gains traction “she said on the website for sharing videos.
When asked on Facebook why he was reading “Marxist literature” to his kids, Rothstein responded with the phrase, “F*ck capitalism.” She said, “I’m tired after a hard day of indoctrinating children,” which was taken out of context.
She went on to explain that she had to “un-brainwash” herself from capitalism before she could “fall in love” with socialism and communism. The old proverb goes something like, “Money would be worth nothing if everybody had the same amount of it.”
It’s time for capitalism to go, she declared. She also said, “revolutions involve violence,” in the same video. The background music implied that there was no problem with that.
Several demands for feedback from the school district on her remarks about violent revolutions were ignored.
This wasn’t the first time Rothstein appeared to approve of violent behavior.
Rothstein said this when questioned about demonstrations in support of the Black Lives Matter movement: “Lots of trolls in my comments area keep bringing up the rioting, looting, and burning of buildings. What I want to know is why you place a premium on buildings over human lives. That’s like roaring down the street shouting, “All buildings matter.” In no way, shape, or form. Part of the difficulty is that you can’t identify a specific source of the violence or identify specific causes of the rage that has destroyed so many buildings.”
“That you don’t see why I’m frustrated is beyond stupid. How could you possibly not be outraged if I were to bring up sexism, racism, or police brutality?” She questioned what the problem was.
Afterward, she remarked, “All boys should get a vasectomy as soon as possible after birth. I don’t see why the woman should bear all the responsibility for birth control.”
The professor said online that the issue of “silence on Palestine” stems from “White racism.”
And she has gone on record saying that “all White folks possess White privilege” and are thus immune to tyranny.
“As a race, white people have issues. White people are the racist ones in our country. Black people and other minorities do not need to call our attention to the bigotry we display. Every one of us must accept responsibility for our actions if we are to make progress “And then she went and broke it down for us.
She finally realized her White privilege and expressed relief. “There is no correlation between skin color and work ethic. If you have a lighter skin tone than most people, you will always be privileged.”
