The story of liberals being devastated by Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter has taken another unexpected turn. When I say “surprising,” I’m referring to something so essential that its absurdity comes as a complete surprise. Alyssa Milano, a Hollywood actress, says she will keep her account on the social media platform despite being called out for virtue-signaling when she turned in her Tesla to protest Musk’s purchase of the company. Milano said that she had sold her Tesla and purchased an electric Volkswagen.
A publicly traded company should not use a business strategy that encourages “hate and racial superiority,” she argued. She rapidly discovered that the Nazis were to blame for the existence of Volkswagen.
Fox News reports that Milano made it clear she would not negotiate with conservatives or anybody else not indoctrinated by American liberalism:
Alyssa Milano said she will keep using Twitter because she didn’t want to “cede that space” on Tuesday’s broadcast of “The View.”
Sunny Hostin, Milano’s co-host, wanted to know if Milano would still use Twitter when Elon Musk took control.
“We won’t be backing down from that position. A good analogy would be a territorial conflict. If I may offer my opinion, “she remarked.
Milano pushed back, questioning whether they were “representing our side of, of the political discourse” or just saying, “you know what, you can have Twitter,” if they weren’t.
When liberals lose, they throw a tantrum, but ultimately, they must confront the truth. As a result of Twitter’s decision to stop protecting and favoring a particular group of liberal elites, they feel threatened. Right-wingers now have an effective tool to combat the left’s deadly spread of disinformation. Comparable to the many liberals and celebrities who have promised to flee the nation if a Republican is elected president. People claimed the same thing when Bush was elected in 2004 and again after Trump was elected in 2016, but it didn’t make them flee to Canada either.
