A major raid in Colorado Springs early Sunday morning led to the detention of more than 100 individuals suspected of being in the United States without legal status.
The operation, which involved over 300 officers from various federal and local agencies, targeted an underground nightclub believed to be connected to drug trafficking, prostitution, and violent crimes. Authorities seized narcotics, including cocaine and a substance known as “pink cocaine” or “tusi,” along with several firearms.
Among those apprehended were a dozen active-duty military personnel, with some reportedly working as armed security at the venue. Several individuals with outstanding warrants were also captured during the sweep.
Officials described the nightclub as a major hub for illicit activities and called the raid a significant success in enhancing public safety. The action forms part of a broader federal effort to dismantle criminal networks linked to illegal immigration.
Those detained are now in the custody of immigration authorities as investigations and legal proceedings continue.
