House Intel Committee Votes On FISA Abuse Memo

In a move that is sure to make the memo available to the public, the House Intelligence Committee has voted to allow members to visit a secure room where they can examine a memo on the FISA abuse.

House members who have seen it, describe the memo as explosive and at least two members of the House want to see the memos go public.

Democrats will fight them tooth and nail but if they would succeed people would think there is something major to hide. Of course, with up to 435 people able to read the memo, chances are very good that the information would get leaked to the public. To tell you how bad the information must be, the entire Democratic contingent on the House Intelligence Committee voted against letting House members read it.

Rep Matt Gaetz was on the Sean Hannity Show and he said this:

“I think that this will not end just with firings. I believe there are people who will go to jail. I was very persuaded by the evidence, and it also became clear to me why Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham felt it so important to refer this matter for criminal prosecution. You don’t get to try to undermine our country, undermine our elections and then simply get fired. So, I think there will be criminal implications here, and we have to underscore the point that you and Jim Jordan just made. Every single Democrat on the intelligence committee voted against even allowing other members of Congress to see this information, so you know they’re going to fight against release to the American people.”

“What are the Democrats so afraid of? Why don’t they want the American people to know the truth about what was going on with the government, how that impacted the president, his transition, his campaign and it just seems interesting to me that Democrats don’t want us to know what the entire basis was in the first place for the Mueller probe they want to drag this out through the midterm elections to try to embarrass this president and distract this Congress from the critical work we have to do to save this great country.”

Why is the memo so important? If as many speculate, the FBI and the DOJ used the fake Trump dossier to get FISA warrants, that would be a jailable offense and would also mean that any evidence gained through the FISA warrant would be inadmissible in a court of law. The Trump dossier was an opposition research paper that contained no verifiable facts. That would make it a brazen attempt to influence the presidential election in 2016 and used as a way to try to nullify the election and force Trump from the presidency.

There are a lot of very frightened liberals out there tonight, folks.
