During their conversation, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Special Counsel Robert Hur covered a lot of ground.

Attorney General Merrick Garland engaged forensic investigator Robert Hur on Thursday to look into accusations of leaks involving former Vice President Joe Biden. So it’s safe to infer that Hur and the rest of the Justice Department were aware of the sham proof of Russian collusion used to impeach Trump.

According to Justice Department documents, Christopher Steele “managed, associated with, or had personal knowledge of the FBI’s actions and relationships” long before the Russia fake was established.

While attending Harvard and Stanford, Hur served as a legal clerk for the late Chief Justice William Rehnquist. Accordingly, Rod J. Rosenstein promoted Hur from his position as senior legal counsel to that of principal associate deputy attorney general. To become FBI director, Christopher A. Wray reportedly served as Wray’s special assistant.

Mr. Hur’s nomination, according to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s statement, would “enhance our efforts to deter crime, promote the rule of law, and ensure fair justice for everyone.” Rosenstein praised Hur’s “experience and judgment,” praising the former.

In 2018, Trump proposed to Hur for the position of United States Attorney for the District of Maryland. In March, every single vote was cast for Hur.

While Hur was the U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland, “hundreds of elected politicians, public office holders, and public workers were charged and settled charges for corruption and fraud,” as stated by the Department of Justice.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Maryland was active throughout Hur’s tenure there. A federal prosecutor, Hur defended an ex-NSA contractor convicted of stealing secret information. A data breach of this magnitude has never occurred in the United States.

Hur, a former U.S. attorney, will join Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in February 2021. The company’s global presence means it could be able to help clients with issues like white-collar crime and regulatory compliance. The business has 20 locations in key cities across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and South America and employs 1,800 attorneys.

Republican lawmakers named Hur as a special prosecutor on Thursday after he complained that Biden had applied double standards to his case. After over two weeks of rumors sparked by the discovery of confidential data belonging to the former vice president at the Penn Biden Center, Garland appointed a special counsel to probe Trump instead of Biden. Garland decided to go after Biden after finding out that Hur had uncovered his records.

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), the third-highest ranking House Republican, told Breitbart News that “the double standard of the corrupt DOJ and FBI, which have been weaponized against Joe Biden’s political opponents, could not be more evident.”

Jill Biden said, “the American people are watching as hidden records are revealed at Joe Biden’s ‘think tank’ and now in Joe Biden’s garage,” after the latest raid on the Trump property.

The Republican head of the House Oversight Committee, Kentucky’s James Comer, has pledged that his committee would look into whether or not former Vice President Joe Biden misused classified information regardless of whether or not a special counsel is appointed.

Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO), whose reelection margin in 2022 will be smaller than the difference between the two major parties, has expressed her hope that the appointment of a special counsel would not be used to cover up Biden’s wrongdoings. To weaken the case, this material is being withheld.
