Both the meeting with white nationalist Nick Fuentes and the meeting with Chinese nationalist Ye at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club drew harsh criticism of the President.
After receiving criticism for inviting the musician to his Mar-a-Lago resort, former President Trump referred to Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, as a “volatile man.”
Ye had three guests: a long-lost political buddy and two strangers. Donald Trump stated of Kanye West on Saturday, “I help a very distressed man, who just happens to be black, Ye (Kanye West), who has been crushed in his career and virtually everything and who has always been polite to me.” The only thing I told him was that he was wasting his time trying to be elected when he obviously wasn’t going to. The frightening spread of misinformation.
Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman has joined the ranks of prominent Jewish leaders who have spoken out against Trump’s meeting with a Jewish leader at his estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
Nick Fuentes, a white nationalist, was at our table.
As with Obama’s friendship with antisemites Louis Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright, Trump’s meeting with Ye and Fuentes was “inappropriate,” in Friedman’s view.
On Thursday, Ye published the first video of his 2024 presidential campaign, offering a “Mar-a-Lago debrief” from his LA offices and declaring, “I think the thing that Trump was most angry with was me asking him to be my vice president.” According to him, Trump was “taken off a surprise” when Ye “walked in with intelligence.”
Ye went on to say that Trump has a great deal of respect for Nick Fuentes and that Fuentes is a loyal supporter, unlike many of the lawyers and other staff Trump was left with for his 2020 campaign.
The MC claims he questioned Trump, “as someone who loves Trump,” why he had not liberated more demonstrators on January 6 and that Trump’s retort “would be mob-esque.”
West explains that during their talk, Alice Johnson’s bail was discussed. “He got into the story of all that he went through to get Alice Johnson out of jail and that he didn’t do it for Kim, but he did it for me.” “Then he adds, ‘Tell Kim [Kardashian] I called her a [expletive censored]'” Upon seeing her, West thought, “Wow, that’s my kid’s mom.”
Johnson was granted a pardon by former President Trump in 2018 at the age of 63. Ye went on to say that Christians who see Trump as a conservative will look for his policies to be “clearly tied to the Bible.”
My fate was sealed. The President roared across the table at me. How effective has it proven to be for those who have used it? Sure, if that’s the point you’d like to make. Since Ye is constantly paying attention, you shouldn’t make claims like “That defeat is inscribed into my future.”
