P!nk, a famous pop singer, issued a series of quite personal attacks via a string of tweets targeting Republicans this past Sunday, seemingly lashing out due to the Friday announcement from the Supreme Court in which they chose to overturn the landmark abortion cases Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.
A three-time Grammy award winner, P!nk spoke on the issue previously on Saturday, going off in an expletive-heavy tweet that called for anyone who stood opposed to abortion to never listen to any of her work again. This outcry seemed to have provoked quite a few responses.
“Let’s be clear: if you believe the government belongs in a woman’s uterus, a gay persons business or marriage, or that racism is okay- THEN PLEASE IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD NEVER F***ING LISTEN TO MY MUSIC AGAIN. AND ALSO F*** RIGHT OFF. We good?” she exclaimed in her tweet.

“Judging by album sales lately, I don’t think she has to worry about anyone listening to her music lol,” stated Kyle Lamb in response.
Additionally, David Leatherwood stated, “Attention ladies & gentleman: @Pink joins the ranks of FORMER gay icons who have officially lost their fucking minds- following close behind @Madonna @cher @BetteMidler @BarbraStreisand.”
“You still make music?” questioned Ryan James Girdusky.
One responder even credited P!nk with helping save her life when she had been suicidal, but went on to state that she would no longer be listening if that was what the singer truly wanted.
“Wow Alecia. Tell us how you really feel. I had a playlist when I was 17 that I would listen to when I was suicidal. Your song ‘Perfect’ was my favorite. Wore it out. It saved my life. But it’s fine. I wont listen to anymore since I dont think we should be killing humans,” she stated.
The following Sunday, the singer did issue responses to the long list of criticisms that shot back at her, saying, “I think all of our nerves are collectively fried from so many years of racism, misogyny, homophobia, etc. +pandemics, mass shootings, wars and the total lunacy, hypocrisy, ignorance of the GOP-it’s all a bit much. But we will stick together. Good will prevail over evil.”

Directly behind this tweet, she issued another that seemed to be a direct and personal attack targeting those who had tried to mock her music career, stating, “And to all of you sad, old white men asking me if I still make music. I realize you’re out of touch- so ask your kids…. Oh wait- you can’t. They hate you.”
