What’s wrong with this picture? While all other Democrats and fake news organizations are criticizing the Trump tax cuts, CNN has actually praised them for delivering much-needed money to the middle class.
In fact, they report quite correctly that more than 65% of all taxpayers will save at least 100 dollars this year on taxes. While it’s true, the rich save more than the poor, they also pay an astronomical portion of all income taxes. The top 20% of wage earners pay 87% of the income taxes collected in the United States.
And don’t forget, it’s the wealthier Americans that start businesses and create the jobs that have led to record unemployment.

It was great to see CNN announce in big letters: Winning: Most US Taxpayers. More specifically, The vast majority of American tax filers — more than 65% — will see their overall tax burden decrease by at least $100…” Do you hear that Liberal world, Bernie, Alexandria? “The vast majority” of Americans! “More than 65%”!
“MOST US TAXPAYERS. MORE SPECIFICALLY, THE VAST MAJORITY OF AMERICAN TAX FILERS — MORE THAN 65% — WILL SEE THEIR OVERALL TAX BURDEN DECREASE BY AT LEAST $100…”
CNN correctly points that these tax cuts are not permanent and will expire in 2025. Let me upfront about this. I would like these tax cuts to be permanent. They are for the corporations, why not for every hard-working, tax-paying American?
Since it’s CNN one would expect a barb at the rich to be obligatory: “The new tax law’s benefits are tilted toward the wealthy, who will generally see greater benefits than other Americans.”
