Biden did not mention the end of Title 42 in his commencement speech at Howard University.

Despite the upheaval caused by Title 42’s conclusion, President Biden spent this weekend giving a graduating address at a university and visiting his home in Delaware.

On Saturday, Biden gave the graduating address at Howard University, a historically black institution in Washington, D.C.

After 2 p.m. ET, he boarded Air Force One and flew to his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. After a brief question-and-answer session, Vice President Joe Biden boarded the presidential plane, stating that discussions on raising the debt ceiling are “moving along” but that “we are not there yet.”

According to an exclusive report by Fox News Digital on Friday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said that it will be requiring asylum officials to work through the weekend in order to deal with the influx of migrants at the southern border seeking asylum in the United States.

The national emergency declared due to the COVID-19 outbreak, known as Title 42, ended on Thursday night. This measure permits the swift expulsion of migrants at the southern border.

Agents have been seeing unprecedented numbers of over 10,000 migrants a day in the days leading up to the order’s expiration, and authorities are already making plans to release migrants without court dates onto the streets.

During his speech at Howard University, Biden did not mention the current problem.

The president elaborated on the protests that broke out in the Capitol in 2021 and his subsequent inauguration.

I was sworn in as President of the United States in the US Capitol in January 2021. “Just days ago, on that very spot, a violent insurrection took place—a dagger at the throat of democracy,” Biden told the crowd. For the first time in our nation’s history, an attempt has been made to disrupt a peaceful transition of power. They were unsuccessful.

Vice President Biden and Senator Kamala Harris praised the participation of the Howard University marching band at their inauguration.

Our democracy held, and once again, optimism triumphed,” he said. This time, however, I was going to lead a two-hour parade down Pennsylvania Avenue as vice president alongside a black woman. Who was accompanying her in the parade? Marching in unison: the Howard University band
