Amidst swirling rumors, it is alleged that Jeffrey Epstein uncovered a clandestine connection between Bill Gates and a young Russian woman, using it as leverage to coerce Gates into engaging in business dealings with him.
As reported by The Wall Street Journal, in 2010, Gates, then in his mid-50s, crossed paths with Mila Antonova, a Russian bridge player in her 20s.
Epstein, upon meeting Antonova in 2013, generously supported her education in software development. Upon her graduation, Epstein contacted Gates via email, seeking reimbursement for her educational expenses while simultaneously attempting to recruit her for a project he had in the works.
According to sources, both Epstein and Gates were financially capable of easily covering the cost of Antonova’s education.
Insiders cited by the publication revealed that Gates was urged to sever all ties with Epstein to prevent the exposure of their affair.
A spokesperson representing Gates swiftly responded, asserting that Gates’ encounters with Epstein were solely for philanthropic purposes. The representative further clarified that Epstein resorted to leveraging a previous relationship in a failed attempt to coerce Gates into matters unrelated to their philanthropic pursuits.
The spokesperson emphasized that Gates did not provide any financial contributions to Epstein.
Reportedly, Epstein dispatched the message after Gates declined an invitation to participate in a multi-billion-dollar charitable fund, a joint endeavor with JPMorgan Chase. This fund would have involved substantial fees for Epstein and aimed to restore his public image following his 2008 guilty plea for solicitation and procurement of a minor for prostitution.
According to the investigation, starting in 2011, Gates engaged in over six scheduled encounters with Epstein, including meetings at Epstein’s residence in New York City.
