Just in his first two years in office, President Joe Biden has done irreparable damage to the United States’ southern border by removing barriers and making it easier for illegal immigrants to enter the country without being stopped.
Moreover, the situation at the border will continue to deteriorate.
According to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, an action plan is being developed after a judge ruled last week that Title 42, an order allowing the United States to remove illegal migrants, is unconstitutional.
Anxiety over a potential new wave of migrants reaching the border is rising.
Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Christopher Wray is worried that the situation will continue to deteriorate.
In his own words, Wray said, “We see substantial criminal threats from south of the border – whether it’s firearms, narcotics, money, or violence.” He claimed that during a “vehicle interdiction” in Arizona, “enough fentanyl to kill the equivalent of the whole state of Pennsylvania” was discovered.
The Biden administration keeps assuring the public that the border situation is under control and that they have a plan, but this is just another of Biden’s many lies.
When asked what DHS plans to do in the face of a possible migrant tsunami into the United States, Mayorkas assured the press that the situation is under control and that a “plan” is in action.
Mayorkas said, “we are enhancing the consequences for unlawful entry, particularly concerning individuals who seek to evade law enforcement, including removal, detention, and criminal prosecution when warranted.” This comes from sending more agents and technology to the border to “mitigate potential overcrowding.”
The Biden administration has been gaslighting the American people about the dangers of their open-borders policy ever since it became clear that it would lead to widespread lawlessness.
The issue became unacceptable when Republican governors began sending busloads of illegal immigrants to cities governed by the Democrats.
There have been a record number of opioid overdoses, and suspected terrorists are crossing our border since Biden took office in 2021, when more than 5.5 million illegal immigrants entered the United States.
