Pro-abortion protesters interrupted a pro-life gathering at the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center last week, yelling, “you have blood on your hands.”
Protesters, including members of Shut Down DC and Our Rights DC, emerged from the audience while executive director Janet Durig gave her speech.
You are passing judgment on people who are seeking medical attention. You have blood on your hands, and the f**king responsibility for all of this lies with you. Take your lumps, Jane adds, for she’s out for blood. Its blood on your hands. There were cries of “blood on your hands” from the demonstrators.
One protester outside the event was holding a banner that said, “Jesus likes abortion.”
Pro-abortion protesters yelled “abortion forever,” and other obscenities as security tried to remove them.
Some of the protesters even ate supper there before making a disturbance.
Although the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center was damaged in June following the release of the Dobbs ruling, neither local authorities nor federal authorities have investigated the event.
Eggs were thrown at the center, and the entrance and walls were vandalized with red paint and the words “Jane Says Revenge.”
To protest the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in May, pro-choice demonstrators have destroyed more than a hundred churches and pro-life groups.
