Nearly 200 Officers Apply to Leave Minneapolis Police Force

Twenty percent of the police officers in Minneapolis have handed in their paperwork to leave the force. And why not? In that city rioters are held in the highest esteem, while police are being vilified. What happens when the police are all gone? You hear someone trying to break into your house, so you call antifa or BLM but are disheartened when you realize it’s someone on the other side of your front door that answered your call.

In Minneapolis they want to to defund the police by 100%. If you are being mugged do you really want a social worker answering your 911 call? They will side with the mugger and call you a racist. What exactly is an unarmed force going to do to prevent crime? Start a lively version of Kumbaya? Hold a pottery class? They won’t even be allowed to carry a knife into a gunfight.

You may not always get the government you need but you will always get the one that you deserve. If you keep voting in far left loonies, you have nobody to complain about. In California, high taxes and rents means that even the middle class has a tough time surviving in a place where low values are set on jobs and high priority is given to illegal aliens.

In Minneapolis it will mean being at the mercy of armed criminals.

    From Breitbart News

According to the Times‘ report, 65 officers have already left the force this year, an increase from the usual 45 departures per year.

“It’s almost like a nuclear bomb hit the city, and the people who didn’t perish are standing around,” Officer Rich Walker Sr., a 16-year Minneapolis police veteran, said of the department’s mood. “I’m still surprised that we’ve got cops showing up to work, to be honest.”

The news comes amid several protests that have caused uproar and destruction across the nation after the death of George Floyd, who passed away on Memorial Day after a white Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes.
