Truck Drivers Say They Will Not Deliver to Dangerous Far Left Cities with Defunded Police Departments

Minneapolis may soon have to declare bankruptcy should they follow through with their attempts to do away with their police force.  CDL Life magazine polled truck drivers and found that 77% of the drivers say they will refuse loads to liberal cities that disband their police force. Citing the obvious threat of danger, knowing that BLM and antifa have a history of dragging truck drivers out of their rigs and beating the crap out of them, who could blame them.

So, what happens when grocery, clothing and other stores cannot get shipments to replace their inventory? Even companies that have their own fleet of trucks may have a problem getting their drivers to enter cities under these dangerous conditions. Businesses would be forced to close, drying up corporate taxes in their cities and leaving them unable to pay their bills. Do you really think drivers would be willing to put their lives in the hands of unarmed safety officers?

Here are the comments from some of the drivers:

“…if something was to happen and you have to take matters into your own hands, and then you risk being prosecuted for protecting yourself.”

“This is not an area you need to act fearless and think you you’d look like a fool for saying no…Imagine what kind of fool you look like for driving into a hot spot and putting your life in danger.”

“I will not deliver to an area with a disbanded police department. My life matter and I do this for my family. We are already at the mercy of these towns and cities with laws and hate against us for parking, getting a meal or even using a restroom.”

“Simple. We may not like it all the time, but laws and order is necessary.”

“Most places we go already can be dicy an about only time you see a cop is when lights is on behind you.”

“For my own safety and security of my customers’ loads, I have already informed my dispatcher that I will refuse all loads to cities that have defunded their police departments.”
