Sarah Huckabee Sanders came to blows yet again with April Ryan during this week’s White House press briefing, this time over President Trump’s State of the Union Address.
Ya see, during the SOTU address and since then, President Trump has been very critical with the Democrats who refused to stand during some segments of his address, including his mention of the historic lows of black unemployment and his comments on the national anthem.
The Dems seem to think Obama should get the thanks for all that, but we know they’re WRONG!
April Ryan stated: “If it’s a Democratic president, the Republicans sit, if it’s a Republican president, the Democrats sit.” – “What is so un-American about this, this year, after this has been going on for all of these years?”
Sanders promptly responded in kind:
“I think its un-American not to be excited about the fact that more people in this country have jobs than they did before, the fact that more people in this country have higher wages than they did before, the fact that the economy is booming like it wasn’t before, the fact that ISIS is being crushed like it wasn’t before,” she flatly answered.
“These are things that I don’t care what party you are from, these are things that every American should be excited about and be able to celebrate.”
And just like that, as is her style, Sanders knocked it out of the park. I miss Sean Spicer at times but Sarah Huckabee Sanders does an amazing job, perhaps at times even better at dealing with the ins and outs of the press.
Hopefully, we’ll see Mrs. Sanders in other roles in our government as I feel like, just as I did with Trump, she may be exactly what we need this day and age.
