Recalled School Board Members Try To Play White Supremacy Card

In the wake of school board members in San Francisco dealing with a recall for their choice to prioritize progressivism over education, the various members are now trying to blame “white supremacy” for their downfall.

Residents of San Francisco, alongside the parents, successfully voted to recall the three left-wing members just last week. A group of citizens created the campaign to target President Gabriela López, Vice President Faauuga Moliga, and Commissioner Alison Collins last month by alleging that the members were failing to focus on the reopening of schools from COVID-19 and also wanted to change the names of 44 schools over their political choices.

The recalled members are now trying to play the race card by screaming racism as the only way they would be removed. Lopez tweeted out last week, “So if you fight for racial justice, this is the consequence. Don’t be mistaken, white supremacists are enjoying this. And the support of the recall is aligned with this.”

The once president also highlighted another tweet in which they claim that the entire recall effort “was funded by republican billionaires, led by … ‘reopen the schools’ moms that used id politics and anti-blackness to turn out votes within the conservative asian immigrant community.”

Agreeing with the thought, Collins tweeted out that the process “has emboldened more dehumanization of Black folks” and that former Vice President Mike Pence’s thoughts on the recall were just signs of a “dog whistle.” Pence told the assembled students of Stanford University that he “had to read” the results “twice” when they were made public in San Francisco, highlighting: “This week in San Francisco parents recalled three woke school board members who cared more about renaming schools than reopening them.”

The mayor of San Francisco, London Breed,  has also admitted that while speaking to Chuck Todd, with NBC, on Sunday that the board of education within the city “failed out children.” Voters in the area flooded in to support the efforts to depose the progressive members, ending with a close to 70% landslide in favor of kicking out each member. In the wake of the recall, Breed stated that this was a “clear message” being stated.

“The voters of this city have delivered a clear message that the school board must focus on the essentials of delivering a well-run school system above all else,” stated the mayor. “San Francisco is a city that believes in the value of big ideas, but those ideas must be built on the foundation of a government that does the essentials well.”
