Caitlyn Jenner’s longtime friend and manager, Sophia Hutchins, lost her life in a terrible ATV accident on Wednesday close to Jenner’s Malibu residence. Her age was 29.
On a twisting road, Hutchins was riding an all-terrain vehicle when she struck the rear of a moving car, according to officials. Her ATV went roughly 350 feet down a steep ravine after the incident forced it off the road. At the scene, she was declared deceased. The other car’s passengers were not hurt.
As the CEO of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation, Hutchins was instrumental in overseeing Jenner’s career. She had previously started a tech-focused skincare business and been on the reality show I Am Cait. Hutchins received her degree in economics and finance from Pepperdine University.
Beginning in 2015, she had a close personal and professional relationship with Jenner until her tragic death. As a rising star in health-tech entrepreneurship and for her advocacy in the LGBTQ+ community, Hutchins was well-known.
Social media has been flooded with condolences and anguish in response to the disaster. The circumstances behind the crash are still being looked at by authorities.
