The original accuser of Brett Kavanaugh, Christine Ford, has thrown her best friend from high school under the bus claiming that the reason she said she wasn’t at the party Ford said she was molested at, was because of illness and said she was glad Leland Keyser was taking care of her health problems. Of course, if she were healthy, she would have remembered everything.
“Leland has, uh, significant health challenges and I’m happy that she’s focusing on herself and getting the health treatment that she needs and she let me know that she needed her lawyer to take care of this for her and she texted me right after with an apology and good wishes, and, etc., so I’m glad that she’s taking care of herself.”
Blasey Ford on statements from other party attendees: “I don’t expect that P.J. and Leland would remember this evening. It was a unremarkable party. It wasn’t a more notorious party. Because nothing remarkable happened to them that evening. They were downstairs.” pic.twitter.com/NrIJ9Cz9k0

In addition to the statement Keyser gave the committee, she spoke to the Washington Post and denied knowledge of the alleged attack or the party. Keyser added though that she believes her friend.
“As negotiations continued, Leland Keyser, a woman Ford told The Washington Post was present at the party where she alleges Kavanaugh assaulted her, came forward to say she “does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present,” according to an email her lawyer sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee, obtained by The Post. In a brief interview at her home in Silver Spring, Keyser said that she did not recall the party, but that she was close friends with Ford and that she believes Ford’s allegation.”
With friends like Ford, who needs enemies?
