The DNC has filed a lawsuit against the Russian government, one of its spy agencies, Wikileaks, and numerous Trump campaign associates seeking damages related to the hack of its email systems during the 2016 presidential campaign.
The lawsuit is insane because with no evidence after 20 months of investigating no one has been able to find an example of collusion and in fact, the DNC cannot even prove they were hacked.
They refused to let the FBI examine their server and the server will now be inadmissible since the defendants will not get to examine the server before it was altered and the FBI has no report since they never examined it.
Usually, it’s difficult for a public figure to sue for slander or libel, but I’m wondering if in this instance it would be possible since the suit is being brought with no real evidence. There’s another fly in the ointment. Both Julian Assange and Kim Dotcom swear that the Russians did not supply the emails and Dotcom swears it was Seth Rich that stole them. President Trump could pardon one or both.
They claim they have positive proof that Russia did not supply the emails.
My guess is that the DNC is trying to cover up the noise from the DOJ IG including criminal referrals and hope it carries over until the November election.
From The Daily Caller
The complaint lists the Russian Federation, GRU and Trump campaign as plaintiffs. Also included are several Trump campaign advisers, including Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, George Papadopoulos, Roger Stone, and Jared Kushner.
The lawsuit focuses in part on a June 9, 2016 meeting held at Trump Tower between Trump Jr., Manafort, Kushner and a group of Russians. Trump Jr. accepted the meeting after being told by a representative for Emin Agalarov, a Russian pop star, that a Russian government attorney wanted to offer the Trump campaign dirt on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Trump Jr. enthusiastically accepted the offer. Yet, he and the other attendees now claim that no information on Clinton changed hands. They have denied engaging in collusion.
The DNC is also suing Agalarov and his father, Aras Agalarov, an Azeri-Russian billionaire with ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Agalarovs partnered with Trump for the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow.
