Obama called Benghazi, a conspiracy theory, which is funny coming from someone who tried to cover it up by blaming a 12 minute YouTube video. I can’t figure out what Obama is calling conspiracy theories. It’s a pretty cut and dried story.
Obama and Clinton were warned of the dangers, and instead of beefing up security, they removed the 18 member security team. They had troops ready to go in and relieve Benghazi but issued a stand-down order instead. That’s not conspiracy theories, those are facts. And then they denied it was terrorism and instead blamed Benghazi on the video.
First, the conspiracy theory line. It came during a much-touted speech the president gave receiving the Paul H. Douglas Award for Ethics in Government at the University of Illinois, according to the Daily Wire — proof that it doesn’t take much to appear ethical compared to other politicians in the state of Illinois. But I digress.
“But over the past few decades, the politics of division and resentment and paranoia has unfortunately found a home in the Republican party,” Obama said.
In addition to many things in an airing of grievances, he said that the right had “embraced wild conspiracy theories like those surrounding Benghazi or my birth certificate.”
That did not sit well with Kris Paronto, who is credited with saving 20 lives the night of the Benghazi attacks.
“Benghazi is a conspiracy @BarackObama ?! How bout we do this, let’s put your cowardly ass on the top of a roof with 6 of your buddies&shoot rpg’s&Ak47’s at you while terrorists lob 81mm mortars killing 2 of your buddies all while waiting for US support that you never sent??#scum”

He ended the tweet with a middle finger salute emoji and the hashtag #scum.
