This is nuts! This Egyptian tank took on an ISIS car bomb this week, likely saving many many lives in the process.
In the video, the tank speeds toward the suicide car bomb to attempt to contain the blast in one of the larger cities in the area. “The explosion was large, carrying about 100kg of high explosives,” the Egyptian army said in a statement following the incident.

Though the blast did tragically kill 7 civilians, including two children, the tank, as mentioned before, probably saved a lot of lives in the process. ISIS still maintains it’s insurgency in the Sinai peninsula with the Egyptian military in active campaign against the terrorist organization.
