Former Demorcat Congresswoman BLASTS the President and Encouraged Solidarity With Who?

Donna Edwards, a former Democratic Congresswoman, blasted out a tweet this weekend where she calls President Donald Trump “white supremacist”…

I had thought him NOT being a racist was settled already? Apparently not.

On Sunday, I hope every @NFL player takes a knee in solidarity w @Kaepernick7 against the white supremacist who squats in our White House.

As reported by Frank Camp for The Daily Wire:

Edwards’ choice of words is emblematic of the way in which the current progressive movement operates. When in doubt, cry racist! This is a problem because when you label someone who is nota white supremacist a “white supremacist,” you significantly devalue the term.

There is no evidence that President Trump is a white supremacist.

White supremacists have attached themselves to Trump; he gave a voice to the alt-right (many of whom are racists or race agitators) by hiring Steve Bannon. However, it cannot be said that Donald Trump himself is a white supremacist, or even a racist. There is simply no support for such a bold accusation.

    […]

This is primarily in response to what he said during a rally just nights ago.

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a b***h off the field right now. Out! He’s fired. He’s fired!’” said Trump, the president of the United States of America.

At least his own administration seems to be coming to his aid.

“It’s grossly unfair that Ms. Hill sought to portray Donald Trump as an upholder of white supremacy when everything he says or does directly undermines that whole concept,” Sarah Huckabee Sanders recently said. “Anyone who thinks that Donald Trump is on some mission to make white people look good hasn’t been paying attention.”
