James Comey, the outspoken and fired director of the FBI is probably a liar as well. We’ve all thought that for a long time now, beginning with the exoneration of Hillary Clinton, who broke nearly every law pertaining to the reception and transmission of classified information on an illegal server.
Then slowly we find out many of the laws he has told and he defiantly tweets some utter nonsense. But the latest revelation has shut his mouth but good. In his sworn testimony to Congress, James Comey said that he met with Barack Obama in person twice.
He said the last time was in late 2016, a meeting he said was to his goodbyes to the outgoing Obama.
But thanks to Susan Rice’s bizarre email to herself, we now know that was an utter lie. Comey attended a meeting on January 5th of 2018 in the Oval Office with Obama, Rice, Comey and Sally Yates. The timing of that meeting and the fact that they tried to keep it secret raises some serious questions.
The day after that meeting, Comey met with Donald Trump and briefed him on the Hillary dossier and then lied to his face, telling him he was not a target in the collision investigation, when that investigation only existed to try to run Trump out of office or at least to prevent him from implementing policies favorable to voters but abhorrent to liberals and the Deep State.
The meeting — which Comey never previously disclosed to Congress — occurred in the White House on Jan. 5, 2017. It included Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Rice deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, and Comey. The topic of the meeting was potential Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
By failing to inform the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence about the meeting in his June 8, 2017, testimony, Comey may have deliberately and intentionally misled Congress about his interactions with the former president, especially a meeting so close to Trump entering the White House.
Comey testified he only met with Obama twice:
“I spoke alone with President Obama twice in person (and never on the phone) – once in 2015 to discuss law enforcement policy issues and a second time, briefly, for him to say goodbye in late 2016.”
Obviously, that was a lie. What else do we have left to learn about Comey’s lies? Judging by past lies, we can assume a lot. If Comey doesn’t end up serving time in a federal penitentiary, it will be the biggest miscarriage of justice since the OJ trial.
Rice is scheduled to testify before the Senate Committee on the Judiciary on Feb 22nd. How ironic. She will be lying her ass off on the birthday of a president who could not tell a lie.
