OK so I’m a nerd! But admit it, you’re looking forward to the latest installment of the Star Wars franchise as much as I am, right?!
The latest film, The Last Jedi, dropped a new trailer just 3 weeks ago and a new teaser week. They show the possibility of Rey turning against Luke Skywalker and joining Kylo Ren. They also show what appears to be an epic fight between Finn and Captian Phasma.
We also see Luke Skywalker back in the Falcon and as he does, it all lights up. As well as a hint that Ren may kill his mother, Princess Leia.
Here’s the teaser. I’ll post the latest trailer below, as well.
WHOA! I’m really looking forward to December 15th. I never really get out much these days but I may have to leave the confines of my home for this one.
As you’re all aware, Carrie Fisher who plays Princess Leia died this year but not before filming this movie. It was the last movie she did before her death. And from what I’ve read, all of her scenes will be used still. It will be interesting to see what’s in store, especially for her character.
As reported by Daily Mail:
Suddenly the lights in the cockpit turns on to reveal that it was Skywalker who is finally back in the ship.
In the previous film – titled Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Rey, Finn, and Chewbacca escape an imploding planet by using the Millennium Falcon.
After that, and at the very end of the film, protagonist Rey finds Luke and presents him with his old lightsaber.

The Last Jedi, directed by Rian Johnson, picks up exactly where JJ Abrams’ The Force Awakens Left off: with Rey handing Luke the lightsaber he lost battling his father above Bespin in The Empire Strikes Back.
Earlier this month, Lucasfilm debuted its highly anticipated second trailer, which hinted at a heel turn for Rey at Luke’s rejection, and also appeared to show her allying with Kylo Ren.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15.
