During Fox News Sunday, Senator Dick Durbin said that the last meeting between President Trump and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) had a “basic understanding” that the new DACA deal will include citizenship.
Durbin said, “We’re going forward with the understanding that we can work with the White House to come up with an agreement that includes DACA, that includes citizenship for those who are protected under the DREAM Act and also has a substantial commitment to increase border protection. Those are the two pillars of this understanding.”

According to The Hill,
When pressed on whether he thinks Trump committed to those pillars during the meeting with Democratic leaders, Durbin responded: “Yes.”
Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) was also asked on the same show whether he thinks there’s a deal on DACA and a path to citizenship.
“I think there’s a desire to come to a conclusion here on both sides,” he said, adding that the details “matter.”
Trump said last week he is not considering offering citizenship to young immigrants living illegally in the U.S., saying, “We’re not looking at amnesty.”

What do you think of this move? If this is true those who are legally in DACA may become citizens of The United States. Trump had previous tweeted “Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!…..”

Leaving some of his supporters disillusioned and burning their MAGA gear. But do you think the POTUS has a point? Ultimately, why haven’t they (most of at least?) sought citizenship on their own? Were they waiting for it to be handed to them?
