There is no end in sight for the saga surrounding Seth Rich, Wikileaks, and the Democratic National Committee, as one group of concerned citizens has decided to get litigious about it.
Earlier in the week, Fox News’ only remaining original anchor Sean Hannity was the victim of a brutal leftist assault for his coverage of the Seth Rich murder mystery. It seems that Rich’s murder, during a “botched robbery” in which the assailant took nothing from Rich, is not for the people of the United States to question.
Rich, a DNC staffer who was believed by many to be the source of the leaks that doomed Hillary Clinton’s 2016 White House dreams, has been at the center of an independent, citizen investigation for some time. Given the history of Clinton family enemies winding up underground in mysterious ways, the prevailing theory is that Seth was assassinated for his actions in the leak scandal. Those who believe that the official story of the “botched robbery” is a coverup have been labeled conspiracy theorists and repeatedly harassed by those hoping to make the entire scandal go away.
Now, one group of concerned Americans is filing a lawsuit, hoping to crack the case wide open.
“The Profiling Project filed the lawsuit in D.C. Superior Court Wednesday morning, asserting that MPD has mismanaged the murder investigation. The group said that MPD’s stonewalling is unjustified.
“’The release of this crucial material will help bring peace to the victim’s family, and it will help to either confirm or refute the various theories that swirl about this important murder case,’ Washington, D.C. lobbyist and attorney Jack Burkman, who is leading The Profiling Project, asserted in court documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation (TheDCNF).
“The complaint for injunctive and declaratory relief requests the disclosure of three specific pieces of information in the case; surveillance video footage from a nearby second-floor camera, the Medical Examiner’s report, and the forensic ballistic report.”
Whether or not this suit is honored by a judge at all is the first hurdle. Given Sean Hannity’s suspiciously swift pivot on his coverage of the Seth Rich murder, we are willing to bet that some very well connected individuals have been working behind the scenes to stymy anyone getting within earshot of the truth.
