Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) has actually introduced articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump this week. His move is the actual first official time that a lawmaker has actually went THAT far… and I’m not really sure what grounds he believes he has to make these claims on… unreal.
Ultimately, and thankfully, it’s all for naught as it requires a majority consensus. Given that repubicals are the majority in the House… well… maybe he’s just hoping to make some big waves and I’m sure (speculating) he’ll cash some checks off this move. But still, what a idiot.

This move is essentially nonsense. There’s no true grounds to base this on. I’d even argue President Trump hasn’t been in office LONG ENOUGH for this to be a thing. I’ll be interested to see how far this can actually get though. I don’t want to sound paranoid but this may be the beginning steps of a much larger overall plan especially when you take what’s happened recently to Donald Trump JR and the possibility of his being setup.

The congressman lists Trump’s alleged pressuring of former FBI Director James Comey to drop the investigation into former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn ties to Russia as his reason for bringing forth the articles.
“In all of this, Donald John Trump has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as President and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States,” Sherman wrote.
