Allegedly, a stranger abducted and raped a DoorDash driver in Florida. The jerk started firing at her loved ones when they came to aid.
On Saturday, authorities in Tampa, Florida, reported that they had arrested a suspect in connection with the horrible events of April 18. The suspect has been named as 38-year-old Joseph Killins.
Killins is accused of holding the lady in her twenties at gunpoint at around 11 o’clock that night and driving her to an apartment in the Belara Lakes Apartment complex, where he raped her.
Before coming to her help, the victim’s family made sure she was at home by calling her phone. It’s not quite clear how her loved ones found out about her situation.
The victim’s relative had arrived quickly to get her out of the car. They had her phone location and knew where she was at all times.According to the police, Killins retaliated by firing numerous shots.
A woman in her twenties, believed to be the victim’s girlfriend, was shot.
Killins discharged multiple shots before escaping.
Police say that Killins returned to the same apartment complex the next day, where he allegedly punched a woman in her forties in the face and stole her pocketbook.
His last known position was at the Haven Waters Edge apartments, and he was last seen fleeing away from that area.
The release states that officers involved in both investigations worked together to track down Killins.
On Friday night, the police located him in a motel in Tampa and arrested him there.

In connection with the April 19 incident, Killins is being charged with aggravated violence with a weapon, armed kidnapping, armed sexual battery, and theft with a handgun. In addition to murder, he is also accused of robbery.
The Orient Road Jail is now housing him.
