Former President Joe Biden returned to the campaign trail with a visit to South Carolina, marking one of his first political appearances since announcing his prostate cancer diagnosis.

Traveling on a commercial flight, Biden made the trip without the traditional campaign-style arrangements often associated with former presidents, drawing attention from fellow passengers and airport staff along the way.

Ahead of the scheduled event, he was seen greeting supporters and interacting with travelers at the airport. During one exchange, Biden attempted to take a selfie with a supporter, a moment that reflected his continued engagement with the public despite his recent health challenges.

The visit coincided with a political gathering commemorating the anniversary of his decisive 2020 primary victory in South Carolina, a turning point that helped propel his path to the presidency.

Biden’s appearance signaled a cautious return to public political activity as he balances ongoing treatment with efforts to remain visible on the national stage.
