Former President Bill Clinton told congressional investigators during a closed-door deposition that he never heard President Donald Trump make any statement suggesting involvement with Jeffrey Epstein.
Clinton’s remarks were delivered under oath before the House Oversight Committee as part of its ongoing review into Epstein’s network and associations with prominent figures.
According to committee leadership, Clinton indicated he had no knowledge connecting Trump to Epstein’s activities and had not heard any comments from Trump implying such a link.
The testimony formed part of a broader session examining Clinton’s past interactions with Epstein and questions surrounding the financier’s relationships with high-profile individuals.
Clinton also reiterated that he had no awareness of Epstein’s criminal conduct, stating that he did not observe anything that raised concern during their prior contact.
