What Ocasio-Cortez Says About Energy Will Make You HAPPY She’s The Face Of The Democratic Party – LOL

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has now proven that besides everything else she doesn’t know about, you can add energy to that. She now says we have to stop going after fossil fuels and move to green energy alone by 2035. If you take her ayt her word, then she is promoting prolonged blackouts across the country and the destruction of hundreds of thousands of houses and the killing of rare birds leading to extinction. Both wind and sun power are extremely unreliable and since electricity can’t be stored, how do you fuel homes and businesses when the sun doesn’t shine and the wind doesn’t blow?

The answer is very simple but would be impossible under Ocasio-Cortez’s plan. You cannot just build a plant to turn windmill power into electricity. Wind is worthless, both when it is blowing too gently or too hard. That is why whenever a power plant is built for wind or solar, they also build a natural gas plant right beside it. That way, when the greenie plant can’t produce electricity, the NG plant gets started up to avoid blackouts. But under Ocasio-Cortez’s plan, we no longer drill for natural gas, therefore, we just have to live with the blackouts. The same goes for solar.

    From The Blaze

During a Washington, D.C., fundraising event Thursday night, New York Democratic House nominee Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told supporters that the U.S. should stop producing fossil fuels, saying “there’s no debate” over the issue.

    What are the details?

According to Fox News, Ocasio-Cortez is promoting a “Green New Deal” plan, which is an environmental stimulus initiative with an end-goal of shifting the country to using 100 percent renewal energy sources by 2035.

“There’s no debate as to whether we should continue producing fossil fuels. There’s no debate. We should not,” Ocasio-Cortez told the audience. “Every single scientific consensus points to that.”

In 2015 the US spent $600 billion in green energy subsidies. That’s for an industry that produced 10% of our electricity needs. So, if we increase green energy to 100% the subsidies would be $6 trillion dollars a year. That would equal 33% of our GDP. Or we can cut subsidies and people would have to pay the true cost of their green energy. That would work as long as you don’t pay your rent or mortgage or buy food and clothes.
