I don’t think anyone really expects President Trump to win the Nobel Prize because the Nobel Awards have been politicized by the far left. Farrakhan would have a better chance. But there has been some hope for the president.

He was nominate by Japanese Prime Minister Abe for his work on the North Korean nuclear threat. He has the backing of two of the Norwegian officials and he is almost assured of getting at least a couple of votes even if he doesn’t win.

Look, if Obama can win one for absolutely nothing, President Trump deserves it for being the first president to bring North Korea to the table since Bill Clinton gave them 2 nuclear reactors, fuel and 250 million in cash in exchange fore the promise not to build a nuclear bomb.

    How did that work out?

ABC International, a Spanish national daily newspaper, reported (translated):

Although Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe does not want to confirm whether or not Donald Trump has been nominated for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize, the issue seems already settled in a positive way by two Norwegian parliamentarians. Trump is a candidate for the highest award given by the Norwegian Nobel Committee for his efforts for detente and peace on the Korean peninsula.

During a press conference at the White House last Friday, President Trump announced that the Japanese “premier” had sent him “a beautiful copy” of the nomination – in a five-page letter – to the Nobel Prize winner. Peace. And although Abe has been reluctant to confirm this information since then, it has transpired that at least two Norwegian parliamentarians support the nomination of the conservative president of the United States.

“We have nominated him of course for the positive developments on the Korean peninsula,” Per-Willy Amundsen , Minister of Justice , told Reuters between 2016 and 2018. “There were tensions, largely due to Trump’s unconventional diplomatic style, but they have already been reduced, “Amundsen added.
