Michelle Malkin, speaking at a Stand With ICE event honored a family of immigrants who lost a son to an eleven-time deported illegal alien.
She read a statement from the Kudlis family that told of their son, who was killed in a sanctuary city by an illegal alien who had been deported 11 times before.

Eleven years ago today on September 4, 2008 Maarat’s 3-year-old son Martens Kudlis was murdered by an illegal alien at a Baskin Robbins store.

The Kudlis family is deeply concerned about sanctuary cities. Our great Colorado has an illegal immigration problem that needs to stop now. Great people in this state have been struggling for years. They are scared for their lives and their children’s lives. We shouldn’t be scared living in America. It’s Martens Kudlis’s 11th anniversary of his death – September 4th. Just in case anyone forgot, I’ll remind you. Marten got killed waiting for his mother to order an ice cream cone in the Baskin Robbins in Aurora on September 4th, 2008. The illegal alien never was deported after a long criminal history. He just kept on getting released until he murdered my son. Today Marten Kudlis would already be 14 years old. There hasn’t been a day that I don’t think about all this. Stop being a sanctuary city and letting people who come to Colorado illegally hide out in our state. God bless America.
