Obama Says Republicans Are a Threat to Democracy Because They Engage in “Demonizing” Speech, While Biden Says Republicans Are a Threat to The U.S.

On the same day that President Joe Biden made a speech condemning “MAGA Republicans” and linking them to last week’s assault on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, former President Barack Obama cautioned Democrats not to vilify their political opponents.

At a rally in Phoenix, Obama warned that “over-the-top” demonization of political opponents might incite violence:

It’s evident, Obama remarked, that “this rising practice of demonizing political opponents, of simply shouting and believing not just that I disagree with someone, but that they’re terrible and bad,” is on the rise. That sets the stage for an unsafe situation. More people will get wounded as long as we have politicians and elected officials in positions of power who support or make light of extreme statements.

Obama did not make reference to his former vice president, Joe Biden. In a speech delivered at Union Station, President Biden continued his assaults on Republicans, first made in an address given on September 1 at Independence Hall, painting them as extremists and threats to democracy.

A guy broke into the residence of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the third-highest-ranking official in America, at around 2:30 a.m. a few days ago.

Paul was the target of a failed hostage-taking attempt. Awakened, he planned to bind him with rope. Paul’s attacker used a hammer to fracture his head.

Everything that followed the attack occurred when the intruder entered the house and demanded, “Where’s Nancy? What happened to Nancy?

On January 6, a crowd invaded the United States Capitol, shouting slogans like “We want Mike Pence dead!” as they smashed windows, kicked in doors, viciously beat law enforcement, scoured the halls in search of officials, and set up gallows.

They were a furious mob whose leader had repeatedly told them the Big Lie that the 2020 election had been stolen.

The frightening increase in political violence and voter intimidation over the past two years may be directly attributed to this untruth.

When a previously elected president of the United States refuses to acknowledge the results of the subsequent election, American democracy is in danger. He doesn’t care about what the people want. That he lost is news he just can’t accept.

The Constitution has been disregarded in favor of his own ego. Furthermore, he has declared a Big Lie, held by the minority MAGA Republican Party, an article of religion.

Biden disregarded the left’s use of political violence, such as:

Exited-wing protestors launched violent attacks on Trump supporters as they left an event in California in June 2016.
After Trump was declared the election winner in November 2016, there were riots in many Democrat-controlled cities.
Trouble in the nation’s capital during Trump’s inauguration in 2017
Threats against Trump supporters during his administration, including violent speech during the Women’s March
In 2017, a crazy left-wing shooter opened fire on a baseball field filled with Republican members of Congress, hurting many of them.
In 2020, Democrats will either ignore or actively promote the summer of unrest by Black Lives Matter followers.
Democrat-controlled localities have boarded up their stores out of fear of unrest in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election.
There was an attempt on Rep. Lee Zeldin’s life during a campaign event; he is the Republican contender for governor of New York.
During the month of September, a North Dakota man is accused of killing a teenager because he thought the victim was a Republican.
A volunteer for Republican Florida Senator Marco Rubio was brutally attacked by a group of individuals who claimed they had been told they could not be there because they were Republicans.
There was an incident involving a supporter of Republican gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon and a supporter of Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who is said to have bitten Dixon (D)
A Republican candidate for governor in Illinois, State Senator Darren Bailey, received death threats last week.
New Hampshire Republican Senate candidate Don Bolduc was assaulted (allegedly by a local libertarian)
Justice Brett Kavanaugh was allegedly murdered when a copy of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs judgment repealing Roe v. Wade was leaked.
As a result of the Dobbs ruling, pro-abortion extremists have been launching arson attacks on Catholic churches and pregnancy resource facilities.
In September, Biden warned that the Republican Party that supported Donald Trump was “a menace to this country” and that “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extreme that undermines the fundamental underpinnings of our republic.”

While Obama cautioned against the “erosion of simply fundamental civility and democratic standards” in the United States today, he previously stated that his political opponents were making “common cause” with the enemies of America because they opposed his nuclear deal with Iran.
