Arizona Republicans, including Kari Lake, their candidate for governor,

While the complaint claims that certified results indicate fraud, manipulation, or other deliberate misconduct, it makes it clear that it is not challenging the results of the general election held on November 8, 2022.
In his lawsuit, Lake predicts that things will “get nasty” because of the prevalence of illegitimate votes in the final tally.
As stated in her lawsuit, she is seeking “an order setting aside the certified result of the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election and proclaiming Kari Lake as the winner of the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election.”
The 70-page complaint asks for Katie Hobbs to be removed from her role as election review supervisor.
Hobbs shot down Lake’s arguments, saying she was trying to subvert the democratic process.
Hobbs’ campaign manager said, “Kari Lake needs maintenance like a fish requires water.” Both parties’ independent experts and local election authorities have confirmed that the election was conducted securely and fairly. The people of Arizona have spoken, and they’ve chosen Katie Hobbs as their next governor.
Days of counting ballots later, Hobbs came out on top versus Lake with 1,287,891 votes.
Lake is standing firm in his refusal to yield to Hobbs, claiming that the election was fraudulent.
Lake tweeted that she needed proof that the election results had been tampered with.
