Stormy Daniels Now Wants To Testify Against Trump

Stormy Daniels plans to testify against ex-president Donald Trump at his upcoming trial in New York. She believes that Trump should be convicted and imprisoned.

On Thursday, Fox Nation will telecast a 90-minute conversation between Daniels and TV personality Piers Morgan. She shared her thoughts on the landmark case against the ex-president throughout the conversation. The allegations that Trump paid Daniels hush money during the 2016 presidential campaign led to his arrest and the filing of 34 felony charges against him on Tuesday. He’s the only ex-president ever to face criminal charges. According to Daniels, she and Trump engaged in sexual intercourse together in 2006. Trump disagrees.

Daniels responded, “It’s scary, but I’m looking forward to it.” when asked how he felt about being summoned to testify in front of a grand jury. I have nothing to conceal. You can’t embarrass me anymore since I’m the only one who’s been saying the truth.

So you want them to call you as a witness?” Morgan probed.

‘I do,’ Daniels said. It almost feels like they’re trying to hide me if they don’t call me in and put me on the stand, so it’s important that they do.

According to Daniels, Trump should do time in prison, but not for “his crimes against me.”

Daniels stated, “If he is found guilty of the other things he has done, I think he should go to jail for those, too.” Others will believe it’s okay to do the same or even worse if he doesn’t.

On Tuesday, Trump pled not guilty to all allegations brought against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for falsifying company documents. In a speech at Mar-a-Lago after his indictment, Trump attacked Bragg and labeled the presiding judge a “Judge who hates Trump.”

After the allegations surfaced, they were interpreted as Bragg’s attempt to gain political advantage by presenting a flimsy case against Trump. Authorities must prove that Trump’s alleged misdemeanor of fabricating company documents occurred at the same time as another offense in order to convict him of a felony. However, legal experts told The Daily Wire that the allegation doesn’t reveal anything about the alleged second offense.

Given the significance of the “intent to commit another crime” aspect to NYC’s case, election lawyer Robert Kelner from Covington & Burling LLP stated, “This seems to me to be a very weak part of the indictment and associated statement of facts.” “Although the indictment provides few specifics, it appears they are banking on a suspected breach of a federal campaign finance statute. If that’s the infraction [former Trump lawyer Michael] Cohen admitted to in the federal case, which it appears to be, then Cohen’s argument is really flimsy.
