Stormy Daniels Wants Trump Jailed, Just Not On Hush Money Charges

Daniels told Piers Morgan, “I don’t think his crimes against me are bad enough for him to go to jail.”

Stormy Daniels, who stars in adult movies, doesn’t think that former President Donald Trump should go to jail because he paid her secret money before the 2016 election.

In a shocking 90-minute interview that will air on Fox Nation on Thursday at 4 p.m. ET, Piers Morgan asked Daniels if Trump going to jail would give her peace of mind.

Daniels said on “Piers Morgan Uncensored”: “In my case, I don’t think his crimes against me are bad enough for him to go to jail.”

“If he is found guilty, I think he should be punished for the other things he has done,” Daniels said. “A bigger problem is that if these allegations against him, or whatever allegations we don’t know yet, he is found guilty or the proof says that he is or whatever, and he isn’t, it gives other people the idea that they can do the same thing or even worse and get away with it.

Trump has said that he is not guilty of making up business records about hush money payments to Daniels before the 2016 election. He was brought to court on Tuesday in New York City. He had been charged with 34 counts of first-degree forging business records.

Trump has denied that he has done anything wrong.

“I never thought this could happen in the United States. Trump said Tuesday night, “I never thought it could happen.” “The only bad thing I’ve done is defend our country without fear from people who want to destroy it.”

The charge was made public in court on Tuesday when Trump was brought before trial judge Juan Merchan.

The former President of the United States, who is currently the front-runner for the Republican nomination for president in 2024, could get up to 136 years in jail if he is found guilty.

But in 2019, federal officials in the Southern District of New York decided not to charge Trump over the payments made to Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal. In 2021, the Federal Election Commission also stopped looking into the situation.

The next court date for this case is Dec. 4 in the same court in Lower Manhattan.

In addition to the hush money scandal, Attorney General Merrick Garland named Department of Justice official Jack Smith as a special counsel to look into whether Trump kept secret records from his time in office at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida in a way that was wrong.

Letitia James, the Democratic attorney general of New York, has also been looking into Trump since she took office in January 2019. James sued Trump in September, saying that he and his company lied to banks and other people about how much his assets were worth.

In Georgia, prosecutors in Fulton County started a criminal investigation in early 2021 into Trump’s alleged attempts to change the results of the 2020 presidential election in the state. This included a phone call Trump allegedly had with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in which he told Raffensperger that the Republicans could “find” enough votes to change the results.

“Piers Morgan Uncensored” is advertised as a “fearless forum for lively, intelligent debate and agenda-setting interviews” that supports free speech and the right to share ideas. In recent episodes, Gwyneth Paltrow’s skiing accident case and a conversation with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were covered.
