Trump Slams Demcorats To Destroy Him Using ‘Old Soviet Process’

If Trump is proven guilty, he will not withdraw from the election, he assured Tucker Carlson.

Former President Donald Trump discussed the investigations and lawsuits filed against him by Democratic attorneys in an exclusive interview with “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Tuesday. If he is proven guilty, he will not withdraw from the presidential election, he declared.

Trump claimed his opponents were employing Soviet-era tactics in an effort to derail his presidency. Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson said that Democrats are suing and filing criminal charges against Trump in an effort to prevent him from making it to the general election:

“The old Soviet process,” Trump said. Show me the guy, and I’ll show you the crime,” he seemed to be alluding to a quote attributed to Soviet Minister of Internal Affairs Lavrentiy Beria.

According to him, “the statute of limitations are off by years,” echoing the concerns of legal scholars who had reviewed Bragg’s charge. Trump has pledged to “never drop out” in the event of his conviction.

As he explained to Carlson, “I wouldn’t do it because it’s not my thing.”

Trump said that some Democrats have astonished him by stating he is not guilty, despite the fact that many of them have called him “terrible” and “guilty.”

I believe I have dismissed Andrew McCabe as acting director of the FBI. Outside, he went. They have no case, he informed them.

Additionally, he mentioned that other, less prejudiced legal experts have largely agreed with him that Bragg had no case. According to Bush Sr., “down-the-middle people” include former New York federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, George Washington University professor Jonathan Turley, and Alan Dershowitz, who taught at Harvard Law School.

Don’t lose track of it, Tucker. I’ve been under scrutiny for seven years,” he added, adding that the Democrats found little to dispute after they had his tax returns.

When asked about the court’s decision to provide the documents to Democratic Massachusetts Representative Richie Neal, the former president indicated he disagreed with it.

Trump said that his detractors have been unable to find any evidence of wrongdoing on his part despite having combed through millions of pages of documents as part of several investigations. This is why Bragg decided to press charges against him.

You have millions and millions of pages, and they have you sign an NDA,” Trump stated. He may have been referring to the alleged money exchange between his former fixer Michael Cohen and adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

The sums involved were “huge,” he added, “billions and billions of dollars,” and the non-disclosure agreement was “perfect” in that it gave the company everything it wanted and gave the employee nothing.

An extremely wealthy business associate of mine once said to me, “You must be the most honest person in the world, because with all of those big numbers, they don’t have anything.”

The president also spent some time discussing President Joe Biden, whom he hopes to unseat in the next election, scheduled for 2024.

He cast doubt on Biden’s intelligence and leadership skills. He said that it’s not always the ideal approach to criticize the president’s age.

Trump said that Sanders is brighter and more experienced than Biden, and that Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus, 93, is still “smart as hell.”

Some months ago, Trump claimed to have met with Marcus and found him to be “100% better than Joe Biden.”

A casual conversation with NBC weatherman Al Roker on Monday, he said, exposed Biden’s purported shortcomings.
