In a recent revelation, documents obtained by journalist Matt Walsh shed light on Fox Corp.’s active promotion of employee support for LGBTQ organizations deemed radical by some. The documents also highlighted the implementation of a “woke AI” system to monitor employees’ compliance with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies.
Walsh shared a screenshot from a Fox employee page, showcasing the company’s endorsement of charitable contributions to organizations like the Trevor Project, the Ali Forney Center, and the Los Angeles LGBT Community Center. Furthermore, Fox was found to be endorsing sexually explicit content, including depictions of a “glory hole” and intimate encounters between gay characters in certain books.
Raising pertinent questions, Walsh pondered whether the executives and owners of Fox are aware of these developments within their company. He wondered if this was an attempt to comply with New York State’s stringent legal requirements or if the company simply disregarded the implications altogether. Providing this information to Fox News viewers was seen as crucial by Walsh.
According to Walsh’s findings, Fox directs its employees to an entity that allegedly hosts a sexually explicit chat room connecting underage individuals with adults identifying as part of the LGBTQ community.
Despite concerns raised, Fox continues to applaud organizations like the Ali Forney Center, which aids homeless LGBT youth, even though the center has faced criticism for advocating cross-sex hormone treatment for children. Similarly, the Los Angeles LGBT Center, which released a controversial film showing a mother surprising her transgender daughter with hormone therapy, receives commendation from the media company. Although the video was removed from YouTube, Walsh claims that a snapshot of it can still be found on Twitter.
Walsh further revealed a book promoted by Fox that includes a chapter depicting a sexual encounter between two gay characters. He shared a page from that chapter to underscore the content’s explicit nature. Additionally, Walsh tweeted about a suggested children’s book from Fox, featuring a pride rainbow-filled storyline where a character comes out as a unicorn, seemingly representing coming out as gay or transgender.
Highlighting internal practices, Walsh asserted that Fox employs an AI program called Eskalera to monitor its workers, despite many employees reportedly disagreeing with the company’s left-leaning ideology. Eskalera, described as a cognitive AI, encourages users to engage in activities aimed at deepening their understanding of identity and exploring nuanced DEI concepts. The program aggregates data from various sources, such as email and payroll databases, and measures workers’ frequency of practicing micro-affirmations to generate a “peer comfort index” and a “diversity index.”
Walsh raised concerns about the incongruity of a publication marketing itself as conservative while promoting LGBTQ and DEI ideals. He suggested that Fox’s disregard for fan feedback might stem from being accountable to institutional investors like BlackRock and Vanguard, who also hold significant shares in companies like YouTube. Walsh argued that these large investment funds push a radical agenda that most Americans reject, indicating that Fox caters to their interests rather than its viewers.
