In a tense exchange on Friday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded sharply to a reporter’s request for a definitive statement regarding the ownership of the cocaine found at the White House.
Rather than providing a direct answer, Jean-Pierre criticized the question as “incredibly irresponsible,” leaving the door slightly ajar. She argued that the question had already been addressed when she previously informed the press that the Biden family was at Camp David during the time of the cocaine discovery.
“I must address the irresponsible reporting surrounding the family, and I want to emphasize that I have been unequivocal,” the press secretary asserted. “I made it clear two days ago, as I reiterated numerous times in response to questions, and it was reported by media outlets – the Biden family was not present. They were not here on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or even Monday. They returned on Tuesday.”
