During her busy week as vice president, Kamala Harris made another gaffe by appearing to support population reduction to enhance environmental conditions including air and water quality. Harris made this remark during a speech he gave at Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland, on the Inflation Reduction Act.
More children will be able to “breathe clean air and drink clean water” if “we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population,” Harris told the crowd. It sounded like she was making a reference to environmental protection, but her office did not respond to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment.
Harris’s latest slip-up follows his attempt to explain AI to a group of labor and civil rights activists at a roundtable discussion. “I think the first part of this issue that should be articulated is AI is kind of a fancy thing,” she said. For starters, it’s only two letters long. In reality, it refers to machine learning under the guise of artificial intelligence.
Harris went on to stress the importance of the data used in the machine learning process and how it might affect the outcomes. However, she was criticized for her imprecise and complex delivery of her argument.
During a roundtable discussion on transportation, Harris was also mocked for some of the things she said. “This transportation issue is fundamentally about just making sure that people have the ability to get where they need to go!” Her statement, “It’s that basic,” was regarded with skepticism.
Despite a week full of linguistic slip-ups, Vice President Harris’s office has made no statement regarding the latest controversies.
