Accident has been determined to be the cause of Tafari Campbell’s untimely death, which occurred while she was employed as the personal chef of former President Barack Obama and his family. Campbell died as a result of unintentional drowning brought on by his submersion in a body of water, according to fresh information from the autopsy that was made public on Tuesday.

Campbell, who was 45 years old and from Dumfries, Virginia, was last seen paddleboarding in the waters of Edgartown Great Pond on Martha’s Vineyard on July 23. This location is close to the residence of a previous United States president. After an exhaustive search, his corpse was located the morning after the previous day.

The event took place close to Turkeyland Cove, and Campbell was having difficulty staying afloat while paddleboarding at the time. At around 7:46 o’clock in the evening, he submerged himself in the water and did not reappear. Another paddleboarder who was there with him at the moment and saw what happened afterwards is a witness to the tragedy.

in the time of the tragedy, Tafari Campbell was on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard. Prior to that, she had worked for the Obamas as a personal chef. Despite the fact that the former president and his wife, Michelle Obama, were not there at their house during the event, they issued a joint statement on July 24 expressing their profound sadness over what had occurred.

The Obamas referred to Campbell in their statement as a treasured member of their family and recalled her by name. They attracted attention to his abilities as a sous chef in the White House as well as his enthusiasm for food, which brought people closer together. In addition, they lauded his warm, friendly, and jovial demeanor, which brought joy into their lives.

Sherise Campbell, Campbell’s wife, and the couple’s twin sons, Xavier and Savin, are the only members of Campbell’s family still alive. Sherise Campbell expressed her grief on Instagram by uploading a picture of her late spouse and asking for prayers for herself and their families as they struggle to come to terms with the death of their loved ones.
