Larissa Borges, a renowned Brazilian fitness influencer, tragically passed away on Monday at the age of 33 due to a double cardiac arrest of unknown origins.

Her family announced her untimely demise on her Instagram page, expressing the overwhelming pain of losing someone so young and kind. They highlighted her courageous battle for life in the face of adversity.

Reports indicate that Borges, a native of the Federal District, was hospitalized on August 20th after experiencing a cardiac arrest while traveling in Gramado. She fell into a coma and remained in that state for a week, during which her family provided updates on her condition through social media.

Unfortunately, a second cardiac episode occurred, leading to her passing. While the exact cause of death is still unclear, preliminary investigations suggest that intoxication may have played a role in her heart troubles.

To determine the underlying cause, authorities have scheduled a post-mortem examination of Borges’ body. Deputy Gustavo Barcellos, involved in the ongoing investigation, mentioned that there’s a possibility of narcotic substances being involved, possibly combined with alcoholic beverages. Laboratory tests will be conducted to identify any consumed substances.

Borges had gained a substantial following on Instagram, where she regularly showcased her well-toned physique and picturesque vacations to her over 30,000 followers. One of her recent posts showed her in a winter coat at an indoor ski park with the caption: “I can believe in tomorrow.”

After her passing, her family appealed for donations to help cover the costs of transporting her body from Gramado to her hometown. They expressed gratitude for any amount contributed, no matter how small, to alleviate the financial burden during this difficult period.
