Jordan Peterson Ordered to do Social Media Training, Plans on Broadcasting Training to Public

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson has revealed his plans to make public the social media training he is required to undergo by a regulatory body of psychologists. This mandate came about due to Peterson’s criticisms of transgender ideology, climate alarmism, and the Canadian government.

During an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Peterson expressed his intention to record or broadcast all sessions of the court-upheld social media training. The Ontario Superior Court of Justice recently upheld a ruling allowing the College of Psychologists of Ontario to enforce a “specified continuing education or remedial program” for Peterson.

Peterson stressed his unwavering commitment to transparency, stating, “I’m going to do everything I can to make all of this as public as I possibly can.” He has already made public the documents outlining the charges brought against him by the college and aims to allow the public to form their own judgments about the situation.

It’s important to note that the College of Psychologists is taking action against Peterson not for any professional misconduct related to patient care but for his public comments, including those made on social media and in podcasts. Some of these comments include retweeting criticism of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, expressing opposition to the Ottawa police’s involvement with the children of Trucker Convoy protesters, and voicing concerns about the impact of the transgender movement on young individuals.

Peterson also underscored his professional duty to speak out on significant issues, particularly with regards to what he sees as the negative consequences of the transgender movement, such as surgical procedures performed on minors and the influence of celebrities on young women’s decisions.

He emphasized, “I have a professional obligation, like all therapists and physicians, to unequivocally state that these practices are entirely unacceptable.”

Peterson’s commitment to transparency and his willingness to share his experiences with the public reflect his dedication to free speech and open dialogue on contentious matters.
