Biden Blasts Trump’s “Nazi Germany” Rhetoric

At a recent fundraising event in San Francisco, President Joe Biden sharply rebuked former President Donald Trump’s use of divisive language, likening it to terms historically used in Nazi Germany. The event, hosted by California Governor Gavin Newsom, coincided with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum.

Biden expressed alarm over Trump’s recent statements, where he referred to his political adversaries as “vermin,” a term with disturbing historical connotations. “Trump’s declaration of targeting the ‘vermin’ in America upon his return to office is eerily reminiscent of the language used in 1930s Nazi Germany,” Biden stated. He further highlighted Trump’s rhetoric about the ‘poisoning’ of America’s blood, drawing parallels to similar Nazi phrases.

As the potential 2024 election looms, Biden’s criticism of Trump has become increasingly direct. He voiced strong opposition to Trump’s suitability for the presidency, citing numerous reasons. The president also brought attention to Trump’s attacks on former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, which were met with disapproval from the San Francisco audience.

Biden humorously referred to Trump’s past promises of excessive winning, countering with, “We got tired of Trump. The truth is the guy can’t get tired of losing.” This comment reflects Biden’s critique of Trump’s continued influence in American politics.

Trump, speaking to supporters in New Hampshire last weekend, vowed to “root out communists, Marxists, fascists, and radical left thugs,” comparing them to vermin within the U.S. and accusing them of corrupting elections.

The Trump campaign has responded to the criticism, labeling Biden’s supporters as overly sensitive and accusing them of suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” They assert that Trump’s potential return to the White House will vindicate their position.
