Under the leadership of Representative Kelly Armstrong (R-ND), House Republicans have formally started to discuss impeaching President Joe Biden. According to Matthew Foldi of The Spectator, this resolution is a major development in the continuing investigations of the President’s behavior. In order to ascertain whether there are adequate grounds for impeachment, the resolution requires important House committees to conduct ongoing investigations.

The President’s relationships with his son Hunter Biden have been the subject of investigations by the House Ways and Means Committee, House Judiciary Committee, and House Oversight Committee, among other committees. These investigations have been rejected by the President as illogical, calling them “lies.” But admissions from former aides to Hunter Biden, such as Devon Archer, have highlighted Joe Biden’s significant influence as vice president.

This resolution will be marked up on Tuesday, and a vote is planned for the following week. On “Fox & Friends,” House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) addressed these developments and questioned the President’s dismissal of these charges as being at odds with people like Devon Archer’s under-oath testimony.

Jordan also praised the bravery of IRS whistleblowers Joe Ziegler and Gary Shapley, whose disclosures have increased the scrutiny surrounding the Department of Justice’s Hunter Biden probe. Jordan pointed out that although the stories coming out of the DOJ and the Biden administration have changed, these whistleblowers’ testimonies have stayed reliable and constant.

According to an October AP-NORC poll, a sizable percentage of Americans—40% of Democrats, for example—think that President Biden acted unethically or illegally in connection with Hunter Biden’s business endeavors. House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) both expressed this opinion while appearing on Fox News’ “Hannity.”

Comer reaffirmed that the committees were prepared to find Hunter Biden in contempt if he did not show up for a summoned testimony on December 13. Comer promised to make Hunter Biden responsible for his actions and accused Democrats on the Committee of undermining the probe. This news is significant for the continuing investigation into the economic transactions of the Biden family and its possible effects on the President’s term.
