Representative Jared Moskowitz of Florida, a Democrat, recently mocked ex-President Donald Trump’s unique fundraising strategies, humorously suggesting that even Ivana Trump’s tombstone could be up for sale soon. Moskowitz made these comments during an interview where he discussed Trump’s latest fundraising tactic of auctioning parts of his suit worn for a mug shot in Fulton County, Georgia, where Trump is charged with election interference.

Moskowitz jestingly said, “I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts auctioning off Ivana Trump’s tombstone next. Maybe for $10,000, you can add your signature to her tombstone.” Ivana Trump, Donald Trump’s first wife, passed away in 2022 due to injuries sustained from a fall. She was interred at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Further commenting on Trump’s fundraising efforts, Moskowitz quipped that Trump could be dubbed the “best QVC blender salesman,” referring to his ability to attract buyers. He humorously imagined someone being eager to use Apple Pay to buy part of Trump’s lapel, despite economic complaints.

Apart from selling pieces of his suit, Trump is also marketing non-fungible tokens (NFTs) of his mug shot, which has gained prominence in his 2024 presidential campaign. These unique trading cards, limited to 2,024 copies in reference to his campaign, symbolize Trump’s ongoing bid for the Republican nomination.

Despite facing numerous indictments ranging from mishandling classified documents to accusations of subverting the 2020 presidential election, Trump continues to lead significantly in the polls for the GOP nomination. He has consistently pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him.
